Yarmouth police arrest man for driving through golf course
YARMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE)- Yarmouth police announced that they arrested a 22-year-old for driving through the Bass River Golf Course.
On December 18, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the police received a call and responded to Bass River Golf Course to find a purple Toyota Tundra pickup truck operating on a fairway inside the golf course. The operator then tried to exit the golf course onto Highbank Road, but struck a large boulder and was stuck in the area.
Police arrested Joseph Galatie, 22, of Harwich, and charged with malicious destruction to private property and trespass with a motor vehicle.
The golf course sustained damages throughout the property on fairways and greens.
