Shots fired in Warwick, local man arrested

WARWICK, R.I. – Heavy police presence outside a house in Warwick Sunday afternoon, after a report of shots fired on West Shore Road.

Michael Gustafson of Warwick was arrested in connection. Police say he may have been shooting at a dirt pile while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

No one was hurt.

Gustafson is being held for violating his probation, among other charges.
