Search underway in water for person after boat collision in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Ma (WLNE): One person was rescued and another remains missing after boat collision in Fall River, according to the U.S. Coastal Guard Northeast. 

The Castle Hill station along with local agencies responded and are searching the Taunton River near Ferry Street. 

The Fall River Police Department said they are on scene for crowd control but that the Fall River Fire Department is leading search efforts. 

According to the U.S.C.G. they will be searching for the person through the night.
