March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day festivities take over Providence

St Patrick’s Day and March madness teaming up to take over the capital city.
"The mood in providence is unbelievable. I’ve never been to a place that was so spectacular," said Brandon Charles Giley.
Alcohol, clearly not hard to spot or find this Thursday after city officials lifted the open container law on several city streets.
"My father was born on st Patrick’s day, my last names Macintosh this is the best day of the year for us," said Patrick Macintosh.
Many parties lasting into the night. Our cameras spotted the U of A cheer team and band getting fans going before their game against Wichita State.
"I think it’s very very special considering the fact that we are born and raised in Tucson Arizona, we go to Brown University so we know we had to represent," said John Penda.
Four first round tournament games were held at the dunk bringing in thousands from across the country.
"It’s been unbelievable to be able to meet new people and people from around the world," said Mark Berger.
The change in the open container law will continue Friday and Saturday.
