Tip over on I-95 causes traffic jam in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A tip over on I-95 North held up traffic in Providence on Sunday afternoon, according the Rhode Island State Police.

The crash happened at about 3:00p.m. right by the Charles Street Exit.

State police said that a car swerved to avoid crashing into a second car. The first car then hit a barrier and slammed into a third car, causing it to flip over.

Traffic was backed up until the scene was cleared.

No one was injured during the crash. No one was charged.
