A Pawtucket man has been charged with attempting to rob a Central Falls bank.

Police say they responded to the Navigant Credit Union on Broad Street Wednesday afternoon for the report of a man who just tried to rob the bank.

The staff told police the suspect entered and handed the teller a note demanding money. After not receiving the cash, the suspect fled.

He was later identified as 34-year-old Moses Dalmeida, of Pawtucket, where police later located him.

Dalmeida was charged with second degree robbery and possession of crack cocaine.
