Narragansett man charged with videotaping showering teen

A Narragansett man has been charged with video taping a teen girl without her knowledge while she showered.

Police say they arrested 53-year-old Jeffrey Sidelinger, of Twinleaf Trail, after a complaint was made that he recorded a 17-year-old girl showering in his bathroom.

Police say the investigation showed that Sidelinger placed a motion activated micro hidden camera in his bathroom to record people without their knowledge or consent.

Sidelinger was charged with one count of Video Voyeurism. He pled not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday. Bail was set at $2000 personal recognizance and was ordered no contact with the victim.
