Dorian Murray, the brave little boy from Westerly whose only wish before dying was to become famous, is in failing health Friday night.
Dorian’s mother posted on Facebook earlier Friday that he is now suffering from liver failure. She says he’s sleeping 20 hours a day, is mostly unresponsive, and has stopped eating.
She wrote, in part:
"It is highly likely these symptoms are directly related to the liver failure, possibly elevated ammonia levels (a result of liver failure). It is also possible, the cancer in his brain is playing a part.
We are sad and scared. We are sitting on the plane now and will head directly to the hospital. I’ll post an update once we know more. Please don’t let this be the end. I’m not ready. But, I never will be."
The 7-year-old was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer when he was just four years old.
People all over the world, including numerous celebrities, have shared photos of support on social media, using the hashtag, "DStrong."
