Massachusetts donated tanker arrives in Kentucky

ROCHESTER, MASS. (WLNE)- A tanker that a Massachusetts fire department donated to Kentucky has safely made it to its destination.
The Rochester tank arrived in the small town of Cayce, KY on Tuesday and was welcomed by several members of the Fulton County Fire Department.
Cayce Fire Department lost all its trucks and equipment in result to the tornados that ravaged the state.
The 3,000 gallon tanker donated is Cayce’s only piece of equipment at the time, but will allow them to continue to serve their community.
RYCO Excavating out of Middleboro, MA transported the truck to Kentucky at no cost.
“The Rochester Fire Department is humbled and overwhelmed with the tremendous amount of support from our community, residents to businesses who have offered to assist us in getting this truck to its destination in Cayce, Kentucky. The truck will be transported to the Cayce FD by our good friends and strong supporter of the RFD at RYCO Excavating,” the Rochester
Fire Department wrote in a Facebook post.
