Three men robbed and assaulted in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE): Three men in a garage on Sorrento Street in Providence were robbed and beaten early Sunday morning. 

According to police, the victims heard a knock on the garage door and three men with baseball bats started beating them. The three victims, a 28-year old, a 31-year old and a 47-year old were all transported to Rhode Island Hospital 

A cellphone and wallets were also stolen, according to police. 

The three suspects are said to be Hispanic males in their teens wearing dark-colored clothing. 

No one is in custody.
