Brown poll: Trump, Clinton hold lead in RI primary races

A new presidential poll released by Brown University Thursday has Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump as the top choices for both parties here in Rhode Island.
The poll done by the universities Taubman Center for American Politics and Policy has Clinton pulling in 49% of likely voters while Bernie Sanders received 40%, with 11% still undecided.
Sanders lead Clinton by 7% in the universities first poll.
On the Republican side, Trump received 43% of the likely vote with Marco Rubio in second at 25%, John Kasich at 14%, Ted Cruz at 10% and Ben Carson at 3%. The poll has 5% of voters still undecided.
Trump maintained his 18-point lead of Rubio in the first poll.
The survey was conducted on February 22 and 23. Over 600 random samples of registered Rhode Island voters took part in the survey.
