Police search for suspect after 15-year-old boy shot in leg

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Police are investigating after a 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg outside of an apartment complex.

Police say the shooting happened around 10:45 Friday night about one mile from Providence College.

The teenager was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There’s no word on his current condition.

Police haven’t released the boy’s identity.

No arrests have been made. Police didn’t release details about a possible suspect.
