Water main break forces dismissal of Seekonk elementary school

A significant water main break has force the early dismissal of a Seekonk elementary school and closed part of Cole Street.

According to Police Chief Craig Mace, the water main break in the area of 340 Cole Street has closed the road between Mohawk Drive and Olney Street.

Mace also say Cole Street area residents and facilities will be without water services. He says Martin Elementary School is dismissing its student early.

No word on what caused the break.
