Gov. McKee signs R.I. Rebounds bill, allocates $119 million in ARPA funds

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Gov. Dan McKee signed the R.I. Rebounds bill on Tuesday afternoon, allocating $119 million in ARPA funding towards the state’s recovery.

The funding will go towards supporting children and families, small businesses, promoting affordable housing, and helping tourism and hospitality industries.

The $119 million makes up just over 10% of the state’s American Rescue Plan Fiscal Recovery Funds.
