No foul play is suspected in the deaths of two women found in their Exeter home on Wednesday.
State Police say the two women, identified as 85-year-old Wilma Reynolds and 64-year-old Carol Lydick, were suffering from several health problems when they died.
The two were found in their Skunk Hill Road home by a male family member, identified as the some of Wilma Reynolds and the step-brother of Carol Lydick.
No cause of death is being released at this time as police wait for autopsy results from the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office.
Investigators say that although the deaths appeared to be sudden and not suspicious, the investigation will remain open until all rest results are in. There is no indication of criminal activity or injuries that would have resulted in their deaths.
Police also say the air quality within the residence was tested and found to be safe and not a contributing factor.
