Busy night for plow drivers

It was a busy night of snow cleanup for plow drivers across Southern New England.

"Started at 6 am. Been at it all day,” said Chris Gravel a machine operator for Case Snow Management.

He spent his day plowing out North Attleboro High School.

"The snow because of all the rain we have had is very wet so it is a little time consuming but it cleans up nice, it’s easy to push. It weighs a lot more than your average snow storm,” said Gravel.

We’re told this job alone took more 12 hours.

The President of the North Attleboro company, Jason Case, says this storm will have their crews working through the night.

"You should see bare pavement by the morning everywhere,” said Case. "Right now we are working on cleaning up all the lots. We still have a full crew on everywhere."

It’s a similar story for most other plow companies in the area as well.

Plow trucks were not hard to spot if you were out and about Friday evening.

This snow is a welcome sight for business owners like Case, but he tells us he doesn’t want to see a repeat of last year.

"We are excited about the snow but we don’t want last year. 110 inches of snow is a lot even for us to manage,” said Case.
