Arrest made in vandalism of North Attleboro soccer fields

A North Attleboro man was arrested Wednesday on charges he vandalized brand new athletic field in the town.

Jarrod Peterson,18, was arrested on a charge of defacing property.

An investigation began after someone had driven onto the soccer fields, which the city just paid $300,000 to spruce up. The grass was torn up from donuts before even a single game could be played on it.The damage is estimated to be in the $6,000 range.
