FOXBOROUGH, MA – Fans, young and old were devastated by the Patriots loss to the Denver Broncos, Sunday night.  It was a close game, with the Pat’s losing 18 to 20.  Unfortunately, it marked the end of their season, and some fans didn’t take it so well.

"I’m disappointed,” said James Cullity, a Patriots fan shopping at the ProShop in Foxborough. “I was hoping that the patriots were going to make a comeback."

Die–hard Patriots fans were on edge, Monday, after the loss that cost the Patriots a spot in this year’s Super Bowl.  ABC-6 asked one fan if he was angry. His response was, “yah, that’s an easy way to put it.”

Many fans explained that the panic really set in at the end of the game.  Some couldn’t even watch.

"I’m sitting in the parking lot, getting ready to go into work and it was like, are they going to do it?” explained Joe Taliaferro of Medford.  “I didn’t even want to see it on TV because it was like … please let me stay here and let it be another miracle."

Rowdier fans watched the game at house parties.

"I think we’re a little spoiled here, and actually… I thought we were going to do it,” said Brandon Currul of Medway. "It was loud, and then at the end, you could hear a pin drop."

A few little New Englanders also had a big reaction to Sunday’s game. But, even with a loss, fans remained loyal.

"My allegiance doesn’t go anywhere else,” said Taliaferro.

Many are already looking forward to next season.
