Teen stabbed, shots fired in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI – Police are investigating after a fight broke out between high school kids in Providence Friday night.

The police chief tells ABC6 that one juvenile male was stabbed in the lower back on Cranston Street, right outside the Providence Career and Technical Academy. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators found bullet casings on scene and are still trying to track down students involved that fled on foot.
