Emergency supplies to have in the car during snowfall

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The R.I. Emergency Management Agency encourages drivers to make sure their car ’emergency kits’ are fully stocked, in anticipation of the snowfall coming Friday.
A few supplies to stock up on include:
- Flashlight
 - Cellphone
 - Washer fluid
 - AAA membership card
 - Jumper cables
 - First-aid kit
 - Water
 - Warning triangles/flares
 - Gloves
 - Tool-kit
 - Snowbrush/ice scraper
 - Shovel
 - Blankets/rags
 
The EMA also advises drivers to keep non-perishable food and an extra set of warm clothes in the car.
The heaviest snowfall is expected to be during commuting hours.
