Police search for armed robbery suspect in North Kingstown

Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who stole cash from a North Kingstown convenience store early Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened at around 4:45 a.m. at the Seasons Market convenience store on Post Road.

Police say the suspect entered the store, brandished a gun, and demanded money from the clerk as well as a customer in line. The suspect then fled on foot with the cash.

The suspect is described as a short male wearing a ski mask and black hooded sweatshirt.
