Missing Rhode Island man confirmed dead

A Rhode Island man missing since last Summer is dead, according to State Police.

36-year-old Kerry Mello, of Cranston, was last seen on August 10th at his girlfriend’s home in Providence. Over the past several months, multiple homes in Warwick were searched in connection with his disappearance.

State Police aren’t saying how the father of three died.

Memorial services for Mello will be held this weekend.
