The powerful winter storm moves away

The biggest storm so far this winter is far out to sea today after producing blizzard conditions Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard to Chatham on the Cape and Plymouth Mass. The storm produced wind gusts at time over 70 mph to Block Island and parts of Cape Cod and over 50 mph in RI and Mass. The storm totals reached a high of 15 inches on the Cape to 13 inches on Block Island and 11 inches in South Kingston,up to 8 inches in Boston and close to 5 inches in Providence. Today will be sunny and a lot less wind with highs near 36 and early next week will be quite and milder!
