Atwells Avenue bridge reopens

The Atwells Avenue Bridge, reopened to car and pedestrian traffic Monday.
The bridge, which travels over the Woonasquatucket River, was closed for about a year to repair damage caused by flooding in 2010.
The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said the repairs were completed in half the time because of the closure.
