Stop and Shop announces recall of ‘Care One Children’s Mucus Relief Cough’.

The Supermarket has removed from sale the children’s over-the-counter medicine due to incorrect dosage markings which could result in a potential overdose.

The following product is included in this recall: Care One Children’s Mucus Relief Cough – Cherry Flavor, 4 oz., UPC 34152031837 with an expiration date of 3/17.

Stop & Shop has received no reports of illness to date.

Customers who have purchased this product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Stop & Shop for a full refund.
