Pawtucket man charged in stabbing

A Pawtucket man was arrested Friday following an early morning stabbing.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing on Myrtle Street around 4:45 a.m. where they found a 24-year-old male victim with stab wounds to his chest and back.
While on scene, the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Gauze Aziz Dimitri Lago Abidjan, returned to the scene. An investigation revealed Abidjan stabbed the victim at 144 North Bend Street and was arrested, charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapon.
The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
