Officials are investigating an early morning fire in Providence as an arson case.
The fire started at a home at the intersection of Courtland and Carpenter Streets at around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Fire officials say they are investigated the case as arson since the fire was believed to be started outside of the vacant building.
Investigators say a mattress next to the building may have been where the fire originated. There are no reports of any injures in blaze.
