Police search for man after domestic stabbing

Police are looking for a 25-year-old male who is charged with stabbing his girlfriend brother in Pawtucket late Friday afternoon.

Police say Thomas Bartholomew had become involved in an argument with his 24-year-old girlfriend in an apartment at 295 Lonsdale Ave at around 4 p.m.

Police say when the girlfriends 25-year-old brother intervened and an argument began between the two men. As the brother left the room Bartholomew followed him and then attacked him with a kitchen knife.

The brother sustained lacerations to his arm and neck and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

A second victim, 47, who was the victim’s mother, had a laceration to her head, was treated and released.

Bartholomew fled the scene. He is being charged with for 2 counts of Felony Domestic Assault, 1 count of Domestic Vandalism, and 1 Count of Domestic Disorderly Conduct.
