Woman’s body found on Dighton dirt road

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed they are investigating a death in the Hunter’s Hill neighborhood in Dighton.
A 47-year-old local woman’s body was found on a dirt road next to the new residential development around 8:15 Wednesday morning.
The State Medical Examiner now has the woman’s body to perform an autopsy and determine exactly how she died.
