Report: Ortiz to retire after 2016 season

Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz will retire at the end of the 2016 season, according to a report by Fox Sports.
Ortiz and the team have not commented on the report.
Ortiz is a three time World Series champion, and surpassed 500 home runs late last season. He will turn 40 years old Wednesday.
