Schilling declines to testify before oversight committee

Curt Schilling won’t be testifying before a legislative oversight panel looking into the collapse of this taxpayer video game company.
The law firm that represents the former Sox ace sent a letter to the chairwoman of the House Oversight Committee saying that it would not be prudent for their client to testify about what happened with 38 Studios because the state has sued Schilling after the 75 million dollar deal fell through.
The Oversight Committee is expected to meet later this week and could potentially vote to ask Speaker Mattiello so subpoena Schilling now that he’s declined their request to testify.
