Police confiscated around 200 marijuana plants in Fall River

Around two hundred marijuana plants were confiscated Monday after being found while police were investigating a break-in in Fall River.
Police say an officer was on patrol at around 3:40 a.m. when he observed a door had been forced in to a building at 379 Kilbum Street.
While investigating, police detected the smell of marijuana, then discovered around 200 plants in two different rooms.
Police also confiscated a firearm and ammunition.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
