Dunkin’ and Baskin Robbins join RI Food Bank for good cause

The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation teamed up with the RI Community Food Bank for a week of service.

The organizations joined the Feeding America network to feed the hungry.

Volunteers sorted and packed donated food which will be handed out to the needy.

More than 40 Dunkin' Donuts volunteers showed up at the food bank in Providence on Thursday to do their part.

"We're really making this a fun day it doesn't fell like work its more fun and about giving back to the community."

One in seven people in Rhode Island does not know where their next meal is coming from.
