Police have identified the victim killed in a triple stabbing in Providence earlier this week as 24-year-old Elba Feliciano.
Police say the suspect, 34-year-old David Allison, lived on the third floor of the Commodore Street apartment where stabbing took place around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Feliciano and two other victims, 26-year-old Maria Feliciano and 29-year-old Adrianna Figureoa, were taken to the hospital, where Feliciano was pronounced dead.
According to police, one of the female victims ran across the street and knocked on the door of Deputy Sheriff Edward Cooper, screaming for help. Cooper then went outside and found Allison, still holding a knife, and restrained him until police arrived.
The other two women involved remain in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital. Allison, who was also stabbed, will be arraigned when he is in stable enough condition.
