The woman who was struck by a RIPTA bus back in May has died from her injuries.
Police say 31-year-old Bobbie Moore passed away Monday.
Moore was trying to catch a bus on Broad Street on May 20th when she was hit and pinned under the tire, severely injuring her hip and leg.
In the days following, RIPTA officials say it appeared Moore tripped as she was approaching the bus and fell.
Moore is the third person to die after being hit by a RIPTA bus in the last year and a half.
In May of 2014, 69-year-old Frank McKnight was crossing Washington Street in Providence when he was hit and killed. He was working as a court security office at the time.
In March of this year, 9-year-old Ani Emdjian was struck and killed while crossing Smith Street.
