National Grid restores power in Providence after equipment malfunctions Saturday morning.

National Grid says all power has been restored to the 8,000 customers that were affected as of 8:45 a.m. on August 29th.

They say an equipment malfunction at the substation on Franklin Street caused the power to go out early in the morning.

ABC 6 will update the information as it becomes available.
