State Police respond to 27 accidents over the weekend due to severe weather

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Troopers from the Rhode Island State Police responded to 27 accidents over the weekend due to the severe snowstorm.

State Police said that between midnight on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday, troopers responded to the aforementioned accidents.

Troopers also helped 88 motorists who were disable or spun out.

State Police advised the public to say home and to stay safe on Saturday.
