PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ A Pawtucket woman has pleaded no contest to charges that she molested two children and has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

The attorney general’s office says Kimberly Shaw pleaded no contest on Tuesday to four counts of first-degree child molestation.

Superior Court Judge Kristin Rodgers sentenced her to 40 years, with 22 years suspended with probation.

Prosecutors say the two children were related to Shaw.

They came forward in 2012, telling police that the abuse began in 2004 and lasted for several years.
