Rhode Island's Jared Donaldson lost his second round match at the Hall of Fame Championships. Donaldson was beaten by John-Patrick Smith, 6-3, 6-1.

Second seed Ivo Karlovic defeated Malek Jaziri 6-4, 7-6(4). Karlovic is the highest remaining seed in the singles draw. He hit 29 aces and saved all three break points faced.
Local favorite Jared Donaldson fell to John-Patrick Smith of Australia, 6-3, 6-1, in the first match on Center Court.
Tomorrow's matches will begin at 11 am with doubles quarterfinal between Nick Monroe and Mate Pavic versus Johan Brunstrom and Marcelo Demoliner. Second on court will be the continuation of a second round match between Sam Querrey and Dustin Brown that was suspended due to rain today.
