Man arrested for carrying pistol in McCoy Stadium

Pawtucket police arrest a man for having a loaded firearm inside the McCoy Stadium Saturday night.
68 year old Scott Guild, of Mansfield, MA was arrested after police say a female told a PawSox staff member she watched a male drop a handgun from his waist and another male pick it up and go into the men's restroom shortly before 8:30 p.m. on August 8th.
After PawSox staff called police, they entered the restroom and found the male who fit the description given.
Police seized a loaded 0.380 handgun, three additional magazines and a knife that exceeded three inches.
Guild has a permit to carry a concealed weapon in Massachusetts but does not posses one to carry in Rhode Island.
He was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit and weapons other than firearms prohibited.
