Patrick Welch Medalists as Qualifying Leads to the Start of Match Play on Wednesday

Classical sophomore to be, Patrick Welch had a two day total of 5-under par to claim Medalist honors at the Rhode Island Amateur at Metacomet Country Club in East Providence.  Match Play begins on Wednesday.  Coventry's Bobby Leopold finished two shots back.
