A man and woman were arrested in Taunton on Friday after getting high and driving around with their son in the car.

30 year old Jeffrey Silva, of New Bedford and 27 year old Lynette Slocomb, of Taunton  were arrested after police discovered they were driving around while high off heroin with their 2 year old son inside.

Rescue revived Silva by giving him Narcan after police say they found him passed out on the steps of a convenience store on Plain Street.

Police say they believe Silva and Slocomb were snorting the heroin.

They are facing child endangerment charges.

The boy was not injured and the Department of Children and Family Services released him to the grandmother.
