Car crash in providence sends 5 to Hospital

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Police are currently investigating an accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Providence. 

According to police, the accident happened around 4:45 a.m in the area of Westminster and Messer street. 

Police say one vehicle carrying one occupant, and another vehicle carrying four were in a head-on collision in the area. 

All five of them were sent to the hospital with minor injuries. 

No charges have been filed at this time.
