Coventry police officer injured, 3 facing charges

A Coventry police officer was injured Saturday morning after three men grazed him with a vehicle while trying to leave the scene of a fight.
Police tell ABC 6 they were called to the scene at 1:30 a.m. to Magnolia Street where a fight was present on July 25th.
An officer, whose identity is not immediately available, suffered from bruising to his arm after the side-view mirror of a gold minivan hit him.
Ramsey Shadeck, 22, of North Kingstown, Demetrius Stewart, 26, of West Warwick, and Mathew Laroche, 21, of Carolina, were arrested and are facing assault charges after being found one hour later.
The three accused were arraigned and Mathew Laroche was released but is due back in court on August 24th.
