Man seriously hurt in Rhode Island motorcycle crash

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (AP) _ Police say a motorcycle crash in West Warwick has left a man hospitalized in serious condition.
Police Capt. Donald Archibald says the man apparently lost control of the motorcycle and it hit a guardrail and utility pole Thursday night.
He says the man wasn't wearing a helmet and suffered serious head trauma.
The man's name hasn't been released. He's being treated at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
