Man stabbed in Providence on Saturday morning

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence police are investigating a stabbing that happened in the city on Saturday morning.

Investigators said that a 41-year-old man was attacked by two unidentified men near Dorrance Street at around 8:20 a.m.

Police said that the man had to be taken to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated for minor cut on his face.

The department believes that the attackers used a pocket knife.
