Providence man sentenced to 3 years for drug trafficking

A 33 year old Providence man was sentenced today to three years in federal prison for trafficking crack cocaine.
Kendall Ferrara pleaded guilty on April 6th of this year to one count of distribution of crack cocaine. His three year sentence includes three years of supervised release ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Mary M. Lisi.
An FBI investigation that looked into drug trafficking in an around Providence led to the February arrest of Ferrara after undercover officers purchased a sum of 59 grams of crack cocaine from him between October 10 and November 12.
