A plane had to make an emergency landing Monday morning after having engine issues.
The twin-engine Piper PA 34 aircraft had just taken off from Westerly State Airport when it had a problem with its right engine.
The plane came back to the airport and landed with its gear in the stowed position at around 9:30 a.m.
The only person on board was taken to Westerly Hospital with minor injuries.
The FAA is investigating.
