RI man arrested for child sexual exploitation

A Middletown man was arrested by Rhode Island State Police on several charges related to the sexual exploitation of a child.
Korey Morris, 43, was arrested on four counts of Indecent Solicitation of a Child and five counts of Dissemination of Indecent Material to a Minor.
The arrest came after an investigation was initiated into Morris soliciting who he believed was a 14-year-old Rhode Island boy to engage in sexual activity, according to state police.
Morris was taken into custody at a prearranged location where he thought he was meeting the boy for sex.
Morris was arraigned at Third Division District court and was held on $5,000 surety bail with special conditions including no contact with children and restricted use of internet.
He is due back in court Nov. 25.
