Emergency response crews tackle abandoned house fire in Easton, Mass.
EASTON, Mass. (WLNE)- Easton Fire has confirmed details surrounding a fire earlier on Thursday.
Fire Chief Justin Alexander says they responded at 4:30 p.m. to a fire in an abandoned home deep in the woods off of Turnpike Street.
Firefighter from Easton, West Bridgewater, and Stoughton brought two hose lines through hundreds of feet into the woods to tackle the blaze.
Police officers were directing traffic in the area as units from fire and rescue knocked down the fire.
No one was injured at the scene.
